Duties and Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
- Work closely with customers and partners to gather requirements and design complex business applications and data integration solutions
- Translate business processes and requirements into technical integration requirements and designs
- Work with Business unit, IT teams to design, develop and enhance; end to end system solutions based on the Oracle 11g/12C platform including Web services, PIP/AIA packages, SOA-BPEL workflows, Oracle Enterprise service bus and Oracle databases.
- Design and build integrations between cloud applications, mobile platform using Java and Oracle SOA technologies.
- Develop testing scripts, applications and procedures for QA and verification of the workflows and system modules. Using these tools the developer will work with HID to verify complete system functionality, security, robustness and performance in various production environment scenarios.
- Evaluate new applications to assess integration approach
- Provide architecture-level infrastructure recommendations, configuration, and sizing requirements to support the Dell Boomi product suite
- Be a product expert of Dell Boomi applications including the AtomSphere integration platform and MDM master data management suite
- Recommend best practices for implementing, managing, and governing integrations
- Define and promote the adoption of best practices of Dell Boomi's products and Integrations solutions across the internal and external user community
- Work with IT, to develop training materials and documentation appropriate for internal and external parties, for all applications.
- New project assistance: Assist in the transition of the new projects and programs from development to the production environment. Including enterprise system Configuration and Customization, system testing, system Rollout and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science of information technology
- 8+ years of relevant integration / development experience
- Proven ability to design and optimize application and data integration processes across disparate systems
- Project Management and Java Programming and Linux/Unix Experience
- Experience with enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and application and data integration patterns including ESB, MOM, JMS, SOAP/REST web services, databases, ETL
- Designed and developed integration flows between SFTP, FTP,API.
- Good understanding of Boomi API Management.
- Practical experience implementing service oriented architecture design and enabling technologies including messaging, XML, JSON, web services, and HTTP
- Experience with Cloud and Software-as-a-Service paradigm and enabling technologies
General knowledge of common business systems CRM , ERP (oracle E-Business Suite) and processes (lead to cash, requisitions, order management, etc.) - General knowledge of key application infrastructure components such as VMware, storage (NAS, SAN, SMB), Java JVM, networking (firewall, load balancing, proxies)
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Client focused attitude.
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience with Boomi AtomSphere or other integration middleware platforms.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) will be considered an added advantage.
- Proficiency in databases and SQL, including data modeling and working with MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (SFDC) integration.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing EDI integrations (X12, EDIFACT) using Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
- Good understanding of Boomi API Management for designing, securing, and managing APIs.
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as JMS, AWS MQ, and SQS.
- Strong development/scripting skills in Java, Groovy, and JavaScript.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and share knowledge with team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on building scalable processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple support cases simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
