Key Accounts Manager – Outdoor Advertising

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Reporting To: Sales Head

We specialize in static hoardings, digital LED boards, transit media, and other innovative OOH (Out-of-Home) formats. Our mission is to help brands reach and influence audiences where they live, work, and travel through strategic and data-driven outdoor campaigns.

Role Summary

As the Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major clients, understanding their business objectives, and proposing tailored OOH advertising solutions. You will lead end-to-end account servicing—from campaign ideation to execution—while driving revenue growth and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and agencies.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with major brands and stakeholders.
  • Understand client marketing objectives, challenge areas, and business priorities; translate them into compelling OOH media strategies.
  • Create and present media proposals and customized plans.
  • Identify and grow upselling / cross-selling opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Oversee campaign execution by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Creative, and Finance teams.
  • Track campaign performance, provide clients with post-campaign analysis, and recommend optimizations.
  • Manage account budgets, quotations, and invoicing in alignment with finance and sales.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for assigned accounts.
  • Mentor and guide junior account executives / managers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities in outdoor and transit media.
  • Provide regular reports on account health, revenue projections, and client insights to Sales Head.
  • Resolve client issues proactively to maintain high satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure alignment of all account activities with the company's values, policies, and business ethics.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's / Master's in Business Administration, Marketing, Media, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in account management, sales management, or business development (preferably in OOH, media, or advertising).
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and sustaining client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Target- and growth-driven mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and leading end-to-end campaign delivery.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings / market visits.
