Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with deep expertise in SCADA systems, particularly the Ignition platform by Inductive Automation. This role involves leading reliability initiatives, developing automation solutions, and ensuring secure, high-performance SCADA operations across the enterprise.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Provide 24/7 SRE coverage for SCADA systems
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, observability tools (Splunk, etc.)
  • Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution
  • Maintain SOPs, knowledge base, and SLA reports
  • Design and implement Python-based automation and data processing services
  • Lead enterprise-wide SCADA integrations using Ignition
  • Collaborate with OT and IT teams to align SCADA architecture
  • Manage version control, testing, and deployment of Ignition projects
  • Support edge device configuration and data ingestion pipelines
  • Mentor and lead the SRE team, enforcing best practices
  • Drive automation and performance optimization
  • Manage certificate lifecycle and patching for SCADA and edge systems
