Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counselor to join our team. This position is open to freshers and offers flexibility in employment type, including Full-Time, Part-Time, and Remote options. While there is no minimum work experience required, candidates should possess strong communication skills and an interest in career counseling. As an Academic Counselor, you will be an integral part of helping students and professionals to achieve their career goals through friendly guidance and support.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively connect with students and professionals, providing them with guidance and support on their career paths.
  • Possess a basic understanding of sales techniques to engage potential candidates and promote our education and career development programs effectively.
  • Experience or interest in the EdTech sector, understanding the basics of educational technology.
  • Proficient in cold calling skills, engaging potential clients with an ability to open dialogues and introduce services.
  • Ability to generate revenue through effective relationship-building and conversion strategies within a B2C framework.
  • Proven skills in inside sales, with the ability to convert inquiries into engaged program participants successfully.
  • Interest in career counseling, assisting candidates in making informed decisions regarding their educational and professional futures.
  • Eagerness to develop personal expertise in the intersection of technology, education, and career development within an innovative company environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly career advice to students and professionals, helping them with their educational and career paths.
  • Work with the team to develop simple strategies for engaging clients across different platforms.
  • Use your sales techniques to convert leads into successful enrollments in our mentorship and career development programs.
  • Help generate revenue through effective client outreach and maintain continuous engagement with potential candidates.
  • Conduct basic assessments of candidate needs to match them with the right services and programs.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve counseling strategies and knowledge of industry trends.
  • Keep accurate records of interactions with candidates for future reference and program alignment.
  • Promote our programs to the target audience, enhancing brand outreach and community growth.
