Job Summary
  • Responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Python applications that support business needs and enhance user experiences.
  • This role involves working on both backend logic using Python and frontend interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to building APIs, integrating databases, and designing responsive user interfaces.
Primary Duties

Application Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and RESTful APIs.
  • Implement frontend components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces.

Database Integration:

  • Connect applications with SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Write and optimize queries to support backend processes.
  • Ensure data consistency and security across applications.

Testing & Documentation:

  • Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
  • Debug and resolve issues in backend and frontend modules.
  • Document code, APIs, and application workflows for internal use.

Collaboration & Maintenance:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (designers, QA, product engineers).
  • Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
  • Maintain existing applications by fixing bugs and adding new features.
Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Python fundamentals with hands-on experience in writing scripts, functions, and basic applications.
  • Basic knowledge of web frameworks (Flask/Django/FastAPI preferred).
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; exposure to frontend frameworks (Bootstrap, React) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and request/response cycle.
  • Basic knowledge of database concepts (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting/documentation.
  • Exposure to Git or other version control systems.
  • JAVA programming language knowledge is good to have.
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Internship or academic project experience in Python, web development, ML/AI projects preferred.
