Role – Solar Engineer (O&M)

Job Purpose –

· Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues. Execute routine preventive maintenance procedures on solar equipment.

· Module Cleaning: Ensuring that Solar moduleis clean and without any bird drop or shadow. Ensuring module water / chemical cleaning cycles as per requirement.

· Troubleshooting and Repairs: Identify and troubleshoot faults in solar panels, inverters, wiring, and related components.

· Emergency Response: Respond promptly to system failures or emergencies to minimize downtime.

· Documentation: Provide documentation and daily reports of site conditions and system performance.

· Collaboration: Work with engineers and project managers to optimize system design and performance.

· Health and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities. Promote and maintain a culture of safety within the team and on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B. Tech - Electrical Engineer or a related field.
  • Previous experience in solar O&M for 1-2 year is desirable.
  • State Electrical License is a MUST.
  • Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and associated electrical components.
  • Strong troubleshooting and hands-on maintenance skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and, in particular, the ability to work as part of a team and to establish effective working relationships
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both English and Hindi
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage a busy workload effectively and high degree of flexibility in adapting to frequently shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Candidate should be ready to relocate to any location with in India for work related purposes.
