We are looking for an embedded system expert to join our Artificial Pancreas project. The role is focused on the hardware and software aspects of embedded systems.

Responsibilities

  • To develop a modular code-base that can be deployed on ARM-based devices
  • To design, fabricate and test a portable insulin delivery device.
  • To develop a front-end intuitive Graphic user interface for the ARM-based device
  • To develop embedded codes that can monitor and control wireless communication, LCD integration, and other subsystems of a device
  • To work with the mechanical team to build integrated prototypes, leading to an industrial product

Basic Qualifications

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer Science or related fields
  • Proficiency in Python and Embedded C
  • Awareness in communication protocols (such as UART, I2C, SPI)
  • Understanding of the fundamental workings of Electric motors/drivers, Sensors, LCDs, Bluetooth modules and other components

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Multiple projects completed in ARM-based systems
  • Well-versed in data structures and coding
  • Good communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills
  • Should be able to work in a team environment
  • Willing to learn new technologies
  • Analyse technical problems, diagnose the root cause and provide structured solutions
