Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day banking operations,

ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines, optimizing process efficiency, and supporting

branch teams in delivering high-quality customer service. The role demands strong

operational knowledge, people management skills, and the ability to implement systems for

risk mitigation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Branch Operations & Process Management

 Supervise and manage daily operations of the branch or multiple branches.

 Ensure seamless execution of all operational banking activities – account opening,

cash transactions, cheque clearances, fund transfers, etc.

 Monitor operational performance metrics and ensure process adherence.

  1. Regulatory & Compliance Adherence

 Ensure strict compliance, KYC/AML norms, internal policies, and audit requirements.

 Conduct regular branch audits and surprise checks to ensure zero operational lapses.

  1. Customer Service & Support

 Support branch staff in resolving operational issues and improving customer service

delivery.

 Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer grievances.

  1. Risk Management

 Identify and mitigate operational risks through internal controls, SOPs, and training.

 Ensure secure handling of cash and sensitive banking information.

  1. Team Leadership & Development

 Guide and mentor operations staff; ensure training and skill development.

 Ensure optimal staffing and team productivity across branches.

Qualifications & Skills:

 Bachelor's degree (preferably in commerce, finance, or business); MBA preferred.

 5–10 years of experience in banking operations, preferably in a

supervisory/managerial role.

 In-depth knowledge of banking systems (CBS, Finacle, etc.), processes, and

regulations.

 Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

 Proficiency in MS Office and banking software.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹500, ₹700,000.00 per year
