Banquet Sales Executive

Role & responsibilities :

  • Handle inbound banquet inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and walk-in customers.

  • Conduct sales calls, client visits, and presentations to promote banquet facilities.

  • Coordinate with banquet operations, F&B teams, and event managers to ensure seamless event execution.

  • Provide accurate event briefs to the operations team and ensure all client requirements are understood and met.

  • Conduct pre-event meetings with clients to finalize arrangements.

  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by providing end-to-end support during events.

  • Monitor event flow, resolve on-ground issues, and maintain a professional presence throughout major events.

  • Conduct post-event follow-ups for feedback and future business opportunities.

  • Maintain detailed records of inquiries, conversions, sales reports, and client databases.

  • Contribute to achieving monthly and quarterly event sales targets.
  • Assist in revenue generation initiatives and support the hotels marketing activities when required.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in banquet sales, event sales, or hospitality sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Pleasing personality with excellent grooming and customer-handling abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage events professionally.
  • Prior experience in corporate sales or hospitality sales is highly preferred.
