Allyn International is currently looking for a Logistics Specialist Junior to join our organization

Allyn is a privately-held professional services firm established in 1992. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-centric services and solutions for the global marketplace. Our core products include transportation management, logistics sourcing, freight forwarding, supply chain consulting, tax management, and customs compliance.

Logistics Specialist Junior duties are mainly:

  • Route cargo in accordance with legal and customer requirements
  • Capture and manage transport information & data related to the business
  • Coordinate the routing process
  • Issue resolution and shipment responsibility
  • Training of new employees and of clients if needed
  • Research and subject matter expertise in the field of logistics and transportation
  • Actively use either Allyn's ALA software or use the software chosen per the client
  • Accurately issue shipping documentations such as certificates of origin, customs invoices, packing lists, and certificates of insurance
  • Reliably track and expedite progress of specialized shipments
  • Capture all costs associated with a shipment
  • Actively look for a capture savings opportunity and added value opportunities when possible
  • Actively participate in team meetings, conference calls, and daily project management calls with Allyn team and with the client
  • Transport regulations compliance management, including permitting, OD and Hazmat
  • Eliminate or minimize risk exposure for Allyn and customers
  • Maintain online tracking and metrics tools
  • Track and resolve freight claims
  • Provide excellent customer service to Allyn customers
  • Ensure communication lane between all actors of the supply chain inside & outside client's organization
  • Any additional tasks related to Scope of Work agreed with the client
  • Perform Allyn core values, actively promote teamwork and represent Allyn according to company culture

Education & Requirements

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Secondary school or university degree (specialization in Logistics preferred)
  • Knowledge of 4PL and logistics industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong stress resistance and problem-solving skills.
