We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to manage the overall maintenance of machines, equipment, and plant utilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and implementing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for all machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Respond promptly to Breakdown Maintenance issues, diagnose faults, and restore operations in minimum time (focus on reducing MTTR - Mean Time to Repair).
  • Carry out Corrective Maintenance actions to address recurring issues and prevent future breakdowns.
  • Monitor and improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR metrics for all critical assets.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the plant.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities, including PM checklists, breakdown records, and maintenance logs.
  • Coordinate with production and quality departments to plan maintenance activities without affecting production targets.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement to avoid downtime due to parts unavailability.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new machines and plant equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Why-Why Analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead or support implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance techniques.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and other maintenance KPIs.

Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, FMEA, and TPM.
