Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a UI Developer with over 8 years of experience, based in Bengaluru. The UI Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality user interfaces using modern front-end technologies. Daily tasks will include translating design wireframes into code, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. The developer will work closely with UX designers, back-end developers, and other team members to create seamless and responsive user experiences.

Job Description—Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of developers and designers to create websites and mobile web applications.
  • Develop reusable components, scalable JavaScript code, and front-end libraries.
  • Design the data and presentation layer of the web application's front-end.
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Experience working in a globally dispersed Scrum team.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Possess strong collaboration and engagement skills.
  • Experience in large-scale web application delivery.
  • Experience working with communications and/or marketing teams and/or design agencies.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, goal-oriented, and innovative individual.
  • A firm grasp of responsive design and mobile application design principles

Skills Required:

  • Extensive knowledge in building responsive websites using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience working with CSS preprocessors like LESS and SASS.
  • Highly proficient with JavaScript libraries such as React JS, AngularJS, and VueJS.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including object model, DOM manipulation, event handlers, and data structures.
  • Complete understanding of Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, and REST API integration.
  • Good knowledge of NPM Package Manager.
  • Experience in writing UI test cases.
  • Experience with GULPJS/Grunt/Webpack is a plus.
  • Experience in building UI for AEM is an added advantage.
