Job Description UI Developer React Summary / Role Overview: Within Moder Technology, we build AI-first platforms that reshape the mortgage technology landscape. The Frontend Engineer will design and implement intuitive, performant, and Scalable user interfaces across Moders ecosystem of applications. This role focuses on React-based frontends integrated with AI-driven backends, ensuring seamless, data-rich user experiences. The developer will collaborate closely with product, UX, and backend engineering teams to deliver polished, modern interfaces that elevate user engagement and workflow deficiency. Key Responsibilities / Duties: 1. Develop responsive, high-quality web interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern front-end libraries. 2. Translate Miro or UX mockups into functional and reusable UI components. 3. Integrate RESTful APIs into the frontend while maintaining performance and scalability. 4. Collaborate with UX and backend engineers to define and refine data flows and component interactions. 5. Implement state management using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, or similar. 6. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with Moder's engineering standards. 7. Utilize Generative AI tools to accelerate development and optimize component creation. 8. Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and UI performance improvements. 9. Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on story estimation, refinement, and sprint planning. 10. Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and propose improvements to the tech stack. Required Qualifications: 1. 3–5 years of professional experience developing modern front-end applications. 2. Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. 3. Experience with CSS-in-JS frameworks (Styled Components, Emotion) or Tailwind CSS. 4. Familiarity with modern build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or 5. Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility (WCAG standards). 6. Experience integrating frontends with APIs (REST/GraphQL). 7. Proficient in using GitHub for version control, branching, and pull requests. 8. Familiarity with Jira and Agile development workflows. Skills & Competencies: 1. Strong UI/UX sensibility and attention to pixel-perfect implementation. 2. Ability to collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. 3. Solid debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills. 4. Comfort with Generative AI tools for rapid prototyping and documentation (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor). 5. Strong communication skills with an ability to translate technical details for non-technical audiences. 6. Self-starter attitude with curiosity for emerging front-end technologies and best practices.
