QA/QC Engineer

Job role / Designation: Engineer / Sr. Engineer - QA / QC

Job Location: Mumbai – Sites

Qualification:

• DCE from a reputed college
• BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering will be preferred
• Certification of recognized Auditor course is desirable

Experience:

3-6 years of relevant experience as QA / QC engineer in large-scale construction projects, preferably in high rise buildings.

Job Description:

• Review and evaluate the applicable codes, standards and specifications based on projects requirement.
• Planning, organizing & leading the periodical AUDIT
• Review, and monitoring of the Project Quality Plan implementation and its compliance with the specific project requirements, technical specifications, and the applicable codes and standards. Document review sheets shall be prepared for each the site related QA&QC documents.
• Review all site material inspections, acceptance as per PQP or method statements
• non-conformance reports (NCR) to be attend on priority and to be closed in stipulated time as per contract
• Handling NCR, surveillance issues and keeping track records.
• Monitoring RFI (Request for Inspections) status and support Site Manager in daily coordination
• Review, approval, and monitoring of the implementation of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Review and approval for field QC documents like Request For Inspection, Field Inspection & Testing Report Forms etc.
• Review of QA/QC involvement in the Method Statement and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Review of Calibration Certificates of equipment on periodic basis
• Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards, ensure that the project complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Desired profile:

• Candidate must have working knowledge of MS Office
• AutoCAD knowledge and experience is desirable
• In-depth knowledge of local, and international design codes and standards.
