  1. Job Purpose

To assist in the swift handling of mortgage accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional service to customer.

The Mortgage Servicing Officer collaborates closely with team members to maintain accurate records, resolve inquiries, and facilitate timely completion of the aligned / target assignment.

  1. Core Responsibilities

  2. To demonstrate an all-round knowledge of the company's products

  3. Follow up to ensure that appropriate actions were taken on customers' requests.
  4. Refer unresolved customer grievances or special requests to designated departments for further investigation.
  5. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  6. To ensure the timely communication of information to colleagues and line management
  7. Adherence to legislative regulatory and compliance standards.
  8. 100% attendance on all the company's mandated trainings.
  9. Undertake any other duties, commensurate with grade and job title, requested by Line Manager or above.
  10. To respond to all enquiries, whether received by telephone, in writing, by e-mail or made in person efficiently, professionally and within any specified timescales.
  11. Coaching and training of new and existing employees, sharing of knowledge and tips with immediate colleagues.
  12. To bring to the immediate attention of an appropriate line manager any problems or issues, such as a complaint, potential fraud, a health and safety issue, a breach of policies etc.

  13. To ensure the timely communication of information to first line manager.

  14. Experience Requirements

  15. 12 months or more, previous experience working within the financial services industry is desirable, although freshers are also eligible.

  16. Knowledge and Skills

  17. Basic knowledge of UK mortgage Process

  18. Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential

  19. Skill and Competency Requirements

  20. Attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt quickly is essential.

  21. Intermediate level skills in respect of verbal & written communication are essential.

  22. Intermediate level skills in respect of the ability to self-manage are essential.

  23. Required Qualifications/Certifications

  24. Any Graduate

  25. Responsibilities re Information Security Management System (as per ISO 27001 Certification Requirements)

  26. Ensure strict adherence to company's security policies and procedures (for ex: Password policy, clear screen and clear desk policy, etc.)

  27. Take ownership of all the assets/information assigned and secure it in compliance with ISO 27001 standards implemented in the company.
  28. Co-operate and co-ordinate for the internal audits conducted in the company (complying to ISO 27001 standard).
  29. Report to the Incident Response Manager, any incidents you come across in the office with regard to Security threats like threats to physical asset & stored information or any risks detrimental to the Security Policies of the company, etc.,
  30. Responsible to supervise in ensuring that all personnel reporting to you shall observe all Security requirements and be appropriately trained in Security.
