Roles and Responsibilities

MASH Impact is seeking a passionate Senior Communications Associate to support our communications team and help us amplify our impact.

You'll play a key role in crafting compelling narratives, managing our social media presence, and supporting our overall communications strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

●Support the rapid development and execution of communication strategies, adapting to evolving priorities and campaign needs.

● Create engaging content (written, visual, and multimedia) for social media platforms 

● Manage and schedule social media posts, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging 

● Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and inquiries, and    engage with our audience 

● Support media relations activities, such as press release development and media outreach (optional) 

● Research and identify relevant trends and topics to inform content creation 

● Assist with the creation of other communication materials (e.g., website copy, presentations) 

● Stay up-to-date on the latest communication trends and best practices 

● Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure a unified communication approach 

Requirements

  • Degree in English, communications, journalism, or any humanities field with a good grasp of the English language
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in communications, content creation, or social media management
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for social impact and youth empowerment
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong organisational skills and a meticulous approach to work
  • The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments where agility and quick turnarounds are key

Location

Hybrid: WFH (mostly) with in-person presence required for meetings/ events once or twice a week in Delhi NCR.
