* Prepare and assemble ingredients for daily meal service according to planned menus and patient dietary needs.

* Cook and prepare meals following hospital recipes, portion control, and nutritional guidelines.

* Ensure that all meals are prepared to meet quality, taste, and presentation standards.

* Store food properly and monitor temperatures to prevent spoilage or contamination.

* Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals according to hospital schedules.

* Monitor kitchen inventory, report shortages, and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils.

* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and infection control policies and procedures.

* Collaborate with dietitians, kitchen staff, and healthcare professionals to meet patient dietary needs.

* Dispose of waste safely and according to hospital environmental policies.

* Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff as required.
