The position will be responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning, reporting, and accounting functions of the organisation. This role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, drives cost efficiency, and provides financial insights to support strategic business decisions at the Group level.

Job Summary

Edu. Qualification & Experience

Charted Accountant || Minimum 18-22 years of experience from a manufacturing background with at least 5 years as a head of finance & accounts.

Efficiency in fund management and working capital optimisation.

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with banks/FIs.

Deep knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Core working Experience required

Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial software.

Financial Planning & Budgeting

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L control on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual basis.

Manage cash flow forecasting, including debtors, creditors, working capital, and inventory control (RM & FG stocks).

Conduct EBITA margin analysis and ensure effective product cost control and costing.

Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Financial Control & Analysis

Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations.

Evaluate and approve CAPEX based on ROI analysis, ensuring effective control and monitoring of returns.

Work with plant and functional heads to drive cost optimisation and budget adherence.

Ensure cost-effectiveness in operations and drive cost-reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation laws, and corporate Governance standards to prevent bad debts.

Liaise with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities. Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks.

ERP & Financial Reporting

Maintain ERP-based financial control and reporting for real-time data accuracy.

Enhance financial decision-making through ERP system optimisation and automation.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and board presentations.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.

Build a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
