We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in video editing software, a refined sense of visual storytelling, and the ability to transform raw footage into high-quality, engaging content. This role requires both creativity and precision, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a work-from-office job, and a salary is offered up to 18K.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, professional final outputs suitable for multiple platforms, including digital, social media, and advertising campaigns.
- Utilize advanced editing techniques using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut, and/or other professional editing tools.
- Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, visual effects, and sound design to enhance content quality.
- Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and production teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and brand guidelines.
- Perform color correction, audio adjustments, and overall quality enhancements for consistent visual standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high production standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new editing styles, and emerging technologies to continuously elevate the quality of output.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating expertise.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is mandatory.
- Experience with CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or other editing platforms is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of video formats, frame rates, aspect ratios, and export settings for various platforms (e.g., social media, broadcast, web).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Basic to advanced motion graphics or animation skills.
- Graphic design capabilities (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of current digital content trends, such as Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and performance-driven content strategies.
- Experience in scriptwriting, storyboarding, or conceptual development.
