About the Role

A
leading AI research initiative
is seeking a
Bengali Language Consultant
to support a project focused on improving AI-generated image and video content.

You will evaluate and refine visual outputs produced from
Bengali-language prompts
, ensuring they are linguistically fluent, culturally relevant, and contextually accurate.

This opportunity allows you to experiment with
frontier multimodal AI systems
—such as
Gemini's image and video tools
—and contribute to how these systems interpret and represent Bengali language and culture in visual form.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate
    AI-generated images and videos
    for accuracy, cultural alignment, and naturalness.
  • Provide
    linguistic and cultural feedback
    to enhance AI model performance.
  • Identify and correct subtle
    dialectal, idiomatic, or contextual inaccuracies
    .
  • Experiment with
    multimodal AI tools
    (e.g., Gemini) to test prompt effectiveness and content relevance.
  • Document
    failure modes, inconsistencies, and improvement areas
    for research teams.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and researchers to optimize model understanding and visual accuracy.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Full professional fluency in
    Bengali
    and
    English

  • Deep knowledge of
    Bengali dialects, idioms, and regional linguistic nuances
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Bengali and Indian cultural and social contexts
    .
  • Awareness of
    modern Bengali media, entertainment, and pop culture trends
