Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer – Costing & Estimation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, analyzing technical drawings, and coordinating with the design and project execution teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs for various engineering projects.
• Review and analyze tender documents, BOQs, and project proposals.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
• Support project planning and budgeting by providing accurate costing data.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and assist in value engineering.
• Maintain updated records of costing data and estimation templates.
• Prepare and submit project costing reports to management.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure alignment on cost parameters.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in costing, estimation, or project planning.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Salary Range:

₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience and skills)
