- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience architecting and developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (e.g., information retrieval, data mining or machine learning).
- Experience with Machine Management Systems at Google or other large hyperscalers.

Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction and strategy for Google's portfolio of machine management systems, including Surgeon and Repair Subsystem.
- Partner closely with our Engineering Productivity and Software Release teams to align PIE release processes and validations with the testing and release infrastructure for our core systems. Develop a robust qualification strategy for all critical machine management services.
