Job Summary

The Clinic Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assisting doctors during consultations and procedures, maintaining clinical protocols, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the clinic. The role requires strong clinical skills, patient-handling abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical Support

  • Assist doctors in patient assessments, examinations, and minor procedures.
  • Record and update patient vitals such as BP, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, weight, etc.
  • Prepare patients for consultations, tests, and treatments.
  • Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and IV infusions as per orders.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care when required.

Clinical Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness, sterility, and readiness of consultation rooms and equipment.
  • Manage and maintain medical supplies, consumables, and stocks.
  • Perform sample collection (blood/urine/swab) if applicable.
  • Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per biomedical guidelines.
  • Assist in coordination of patient flow to reduce waiting time.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate medical records and nursing notes.
  • Ensure proper documentation of procedures, medications, and vital signs.
  • Support billing and documentation for services if required.
  • Follow clinic policies, protocols, and statutory regulations.

Patient Interaction & Education

  • Provide patient counselling on basic health practices, medication usage, and follow-up care.
  • Address patient queries with empathy and professionalism.
  • Educate patients on preventive care and clinic services.

Qualifications & SkillsMandatory

  • GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing with valid registration.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting (freshers may be considered).
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.

Skills Required

  • Strong clinical knowledge and nursing skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations / EMR preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
