Job Overview

As an Overseas Education Counsellor at Edgo International, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their study abroad journey. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Muvattupuzha. The ideal candidate will have between four to six years of relevant work experience, assisting students in making informed decisions about educational opportunities abroad. You will be the bridge between students and their dream universities, ensuring a seamless application process.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Student counseling (Mandatory skill) to effectively assist students with their academic planning and decisions.
  • Visa application processes (Mandatory skill) to guide students through complex procedures and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Client relationship management (Mandatory skill) to build and maintain strong partnerships with students and stakeholders.
  • International student recruitment expertise to attract and retain talented students for international educational programs.
  • Proficiency in cross-cultural communication to effectively engage with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in educational program development to create and deliver compelling educational initiatives.
  • Ability to perform market research and analysis to stay abreast of trends in the international education landscape.
  • Experience with CRM software to manage student engagement and streamline counseling processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized counseling services to students seeking educational opportunities abroad.
  • Guide students through the visa application process, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
  • Manage relationships with students to foster trust and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with prestigious universities and institutions to facilitate seamless student placements.
  • Develop and deliver informative presentations and workshops on studying abroad and available programs.
  • Analyze market trends to inform strategic decisions in student recruitment and program offerings.
  • Work closely with Student Ambassadors to support student journeys and enhance their educational experiences.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of student interactions and developments within the CRM system.
