A Geojit Financial Services Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for client acquisition, portfolio management, and cross-selling financial products like mutual funds, equities, and insurance. Key duties include prospecting for new clients, maintaining communication with existing clients, achieving sales targets, and ensuring growth in Assets Under Management (AUM). The role requires strong sales, communication, and client relationship skills, a finance-related degree, and often a mandatory NISM certification.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition:

Actively prospect for and acquire new clients through cold-calling, leads, and references to expand the customer base.

Sales and Cross-selling:

Promote and sell a range of financial products, including mutual funds, equity, debt, insurance, and portfolio management services, while avoiding mis-selling.

Client Relationship Management:

Maintain regular communication with clients through calls and meetings, providing updates on market trends and company offerings.

Asset Under Management (AUM) Growth:

Ensure and drive the growth of AUM within the assigned portfolio and branch.

Client Education:

Educate potential clients about Geojit's products, services, and investment benefits.

Portfolio Monitoring:

Regularly monitor client portfolios to identify needs and recommend suitable financial solutions to optimize risk-adjusted returns.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.Role & responsibilities
