Backend Specialist

Salary:

JOB PURPOSE

The Backend Specialist (Account Manager) ensures operational accuracy, revenue discipline, and data

consistency across all managed hotels. This role supports the daily backend operations by

monitoring OTA systems, financial reports, and reservation records while coordinating with property

managers to maintain performance standards and brand compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily Operations & Availability Control

2. Review daily room availability across OTA platforms and internal trackers.

3. Verify data accuracy across PMS, OTA extranets, and reports.

4. Escalate mismatches, overbookings, or rate discrepancies immediately.

5. Document issues, actions taken, and closure updates in the daily report.

6. Financial & Payment Coordination

7. Track daily revenue, pickup, and ADR for all properties.

8. Verify OTA payments, VCC activations, and pending payouts.

9. Cross-check invoices and receivables with the Finance Team.

10. Ensure all month-end reports match OTA and PMS summaries.

11. Reservation Accuracy & Documentation

12. Confirm daily arrivals with Property Managers.

13. Verify and file all guest reservation cards and booking documents.

14. Identify duplicate or fraudulent bookings and escalate immediately.

15. Maintain a digital archive of all confirmed reservations.

16. OTA Account & Rate Management

17. Log into all OTA accounts daily and confirm synchronization.

18. Ensure rate parity across all platforms and correct mismatches within 2 hours.

19. Review promotions, discounts, and campaigns for accuracy.

20. Record and update rate checks, parity corrections, and OTA communications.

21. Review & Reputation Management

22. Monitor OTA, Google, and TripAdvisor reviews daily.

23. Respond to reviews within 24 hours using approved templates.

24. Escalate guest complaints to property and management teams.

25. Track review SLA compliance and maintain monthly reports.

26. Marketing & Digital Campaign Coordination

27. Verify execution of WhatsApp and email campaigns.

28. Ensure campaign content and offers match central plans.

29. Check Google My Business and OTA profiles for accuracy.

30. Support the digital team in updating property details and offers.

31. Performance Tracking & Reporting

32. Update central pickup, ADR, and sales reports daily.

33. Validate data and ensure no missing information.

34. Prepare weekly and monthly performance summaries.

35. Share analytical insights with management.

36. Coordination with Property Teams

37. Communicate with Property Managers for issue resolution.

38. Support front desk teams in OTA booking challenges.

39. Follow up on rate changes, availability updates, and escalations.

40. Ensure daily operational logs and trackers are maintained.

41. Quality, Accuracy & Compliance

42. Ensure data integrity across all operational and financial trackers.

43. Maintain accurate audit trails for all corrections and updates.

44. Review system updates and ensure adherence to Staylynk SOPs.

45. Performance KPIs

46. Rate Parity Compliance: 100% accuracy across channels.

47. Guest Review SLA: 24-hour response rate adherence.

48. Pickup and ADR Accuracy: Verified daily.

49. Payment Reconciliation: 100% match with OTA reports.

50. Campaign Execution Rate: Monthly target completion.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Business, or relevant field.

• 2-4 years of experience in hotel backend operations or revenue management.

• Experience with multi-property hotel operations preferred.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Office-based role coordinating multiple hotel properties.

• May require rotational weekend or evening availability during high demand.

• Requires strong accountability and structured reporting discipline.

Pay: ₹180, ₹300,000.00 per year
