JOB TITLE: Tactical Intelligence Family of Systems SME, TS/SCI Clearance, Fort Hood, TX
SUMMARY: System Engineer Senior, DCGS-A Subject Matter Expert - Fort Hood, TX - TS/SCI Clearance Required. Primarily supports software for the DCGS-Army Family of Systems: IFS, P-MFWS, GWS, TGS, CDSS to include future replacement systems.
How the DCGS Engineer will make an impact:
- Initialize, place into operation and troubleshoot the software interfaces of specific C5ISR communication systems being supported (ex. IFS /P-MFWS/GWS/TGS/CDSS).
- Conduct software installations, configurations, patching and maintenance of DCGS-A family of systems.
- Responsible for backup and disaster recovery of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Provide informal training and software mentorship.
- Provide software, hardware, network troubleshooting, problem identification, and resolution.
- Assist with remote system administration software to include troubleshooting and installation.
- Assists Information Assurance staff with all documentation required for accreditation and any other associated directives and regulations.
Participates in special projects as required.
What you'll need to be successful:
- BA/BS, 5+ years' experience. (4 years of additional work experience may be substituted for an BA/BS. Degree)
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and willing to obtain a CI Poly if required.
- Valid CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
- Experience with Microsoft Windows/Linux/VMWare server and client software, patching, upgrading, and maintaining.
- Understanding of networking principles and system network configuration.
- Some travel is required.

- Military experience (35T)
- DCGS-A Maintainers Course Completion
