Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing:
- Identify and source candidates for teaching and non-teaching roles using various platforms such as job portals, social media, and educational networks.
- Partner with educational institutions, job fairs, and recruitment agencies to create a pipeline of potential candidates.
Screening & Shortlisting:
- Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for the institution.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to short-list candidates for further interviews.
Interview Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with relevant stakeholders (faculty, department heads, etc.).
- Provide candidates with necessary details about the interview process and expectations.
- Conduct telephonic/video interviews for preliminary assessments.
Candidate Evaluation:
- Evaluate candidates qualifications, experience, and skill sets against job requirements.
- Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations during the recruitment process.
- Administer skills tests or conduct other evaluation methods as necessary for specific roles.
Offer Management:
- Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates.
- Negotiate terms and coordinate with relevant departments for seamless onboarding.
Employee Onboarding:
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires by providing relevant documentation and induction schedules.
- Work with HR and other departments to facilitate new hire orientation and training.
Employer Branding:
- Assist in building and promoting the institutions employer brand to attract top talent.
- Participate in outreach programs, university visits, and career fairs to enhance the institution's reputation as an employer of choice.
Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate profiles, and feedback.
- Provide regular recruitment reports and updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with department heads, faculty, and academic teams to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with candidates, providing timely updates on their application status.
