Role: Website Developer

Description:

  • The person should be a skilled WordPress & Shopify Developer This role requires a mix of creative and technical expertise, an understanding of digital marketing & UI/UX principles, and a passion for delivering cutting-edge web solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standout WordPress/WooCommerce/Shopify sites from initial concept, site architecture, and user interface to finished deliverable.
  • Code and implement WordPress sites from Photoshop & Figma layout through HTML/CSS to a custom theme, functions, and plugins.
  • Design and implement new features, enhancements, and content of existing websites.
  • Ensure high performance and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and to implement innovative visual designs.
  • Optimize website/application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Provide technical support to clients and team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and apply them to operations and activities.
  • Liaise with all team members to ensure brand consistency and a high standard of work.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
  • Experience in designing and developing responsive design websites.
  • Proficient with code versioning tools, such as GitHub.
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
