Position Overview

As a Website Developer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining engaging, user-friendly websites and e-commerce platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, customize, and optimize WordPress websites and Shopify stores, working closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure seamless digital experiences that align with brand goals.

You will develop responsive, error-free, and well-optimized web solutions, contributing to the brand's digital presence. This role requires technical aptitude, creativity, and attention to detail, along with the ability to adapt development solutions for various client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to create responsive and functional websites
• Build and manage Shopify stores, including theme customization, app integration, and product management
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across platforms
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure a consistent brand experience
• Optimize website and store performance for speed, SEO, and usability
• Troubleshoot and fix front-end and back-end issues on WordPress and Shopify
• Assist in setting up and configuring hosting environments (cPanel, Cloud Hosting)
• Implement basic SEO practices (e.g., meta tags, URL structure, page speed optimization)
• Stay updated on industry trends in WordPress, Shopify, and web development best practices

• Delivery of high-quality, error-free websites and Shopify stores within project deadlines

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 0–2 years of web development experience (internship, agency experience preferred)
• Basic understanding of SEO, website performance optimization, and e-commerce best practices
• Familiarity with hosting environments and domain management is a plus

• Strong experience in WordPress development (theme customization, plugin integration, PHP, CSS, JS)
• Hands-on experience in Shopify store development (Liquid templates, theme customization, Shopify apps)
• Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
