Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong background in network software development and modern full-stack systems. You will lead the architecture and development of networking-focused applications and services built on C++ backends, ReactJS frontends, and MongoDB/ScyllaDB databases.

The role demands hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and end-to-end ownership of design, performance optimization, and deployment of network-intensive systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the development of network-centric software systems, APIs, and service components.
  • Architect and implement high-performance C++ backend modules for packet processing, control-plane logic, and distributed services.
  • Oversee frontend engineering in ReactJS for management dashboards and real-time network monitoring.
  • Drive data layer design using MongoDB and ScyllaDB for scalability and low-latency access.
  • Collaborate with networking and DevOps teams to integrate with Private 5G / SDN / cloud-native infrastructures.
  • Mentor developers, perform code reviews, and enforce design and quality standards.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and ensure alignment with MatreComms architecture and product roadmap.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–12 years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
  • Expertise in C++ (11/14/17) with strong understanding of multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in ReactJS / JavaScript / TypeScript for front-end application development.
  • Strong background in networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, gRPC, etc.) and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB and/or ScyllaDB.
  • Understanding of Linux networking, sockets programming, asynchronous I/O, and high-availability architectures.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of 5G/4G core functions or Private 5G network elements.
  • Experience with network analytics, monitoring systems, or edge computing.
  • Familiarity with CMake, gRPC, WebSockets, or ZeroMQ frameworks.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
