We are looking for a skilled IT Service Desk SME to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience and be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees.
Roles and Responsibility
- Responds to and diagnoses problems through user discussions, troubleshooting, fault rectification, and problem escalation.
- Provides effective and timely resolution of users' problems, queries, or complaints.
- Assists in hardware and software evaluation and recommends upgrades or improvements to IT infrastructure.
- Manages and oversees the implementation of short-term activities within the team.
- Executes specialized projects and activities according to set principles.
- Supervises work of less experienced professionals, providing professional expertise and taking responsibility for the end-product.
Job Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of the specific discipline or broader area is required.
- Ability to generate and initiate own workload without instructions or guidelines.
- Professional responsibilities focusing on excellence are expected.
- Typically manages a team of Individual Contributor co-workers.
- Operational decisions are made within a defined scope.
- A strong understanding of customer experience management and excellent communication skills are essential.
