Senior Accountant

• Financial reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Account management: Manage the general ledger, review journal entries, and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Audit support: Assist with internal and external audits, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards like GAAP and relevant tax regulations, and assist with tax filings and returns.
• Process improvement: Develop and document accounting policies, strengthen internal controls, and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
• Forecasting and budgeting: Assist with the creation of annual budgets and financial forecasts by analyzing past performance and trends.
• Supervision and mentoring: Train and mentor junior accounting staff, review their work, and delegate tasks to the accounting team.
• Financial analysis: Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide insights and recommendations to management.
