Job Title: Costing Engineer – EPC Projects

About the Role

We are seeking a Costing Engineer with hands-on experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates, conducting techno-commercial evaluations, and supporting negotiations with vendors to ensure optimum pricing and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities


• Prepare detailed cost estimates for EPC projects covering materials, labor, and subcontracting.


• Conduct techno-commercial analysis of vendor quotations and coordinate technical clarifications.


• Assist in bid evaluation, cost comparison sheets, and price negotiations with suppliers and contractors.


• Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams to gather inputs for cost modeling.


• Develop and maintain cost databases and pricing benchmarks for various project components.


• Support project budgeting, cost control, and value engineering initiatives.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, specifications, and commercial terms during vendor finalization.


• Prepare management reports highlighting deviations, savings, and cost trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical .

2–5 years of experience in cost estimation, techno-commercial evaluation, or project procurement within EPC, MEP, or infrastructure Industrial Commercial projects.


• Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.


• Excellent command over Excel / MS Office and exposure to Tally/ERP or costing tools.


• Strong communication and coordination abilities across departments.

Preferred Skills


• Experience in utility, energy, or industrial EPC projects.


• Exposure to BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and vendor cost validation.
