Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain ledger entries including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and petty cash; prepare cash flow statements.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budget preparation, expense forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain and update accounting records in Tally or other accounting software.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements (returns, filings, etc.).
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documents.
- Liaise with operations, bookings, and vendors to resolve billing or financial discrepancies.
- Handle vendor/supplier reconciliations and ensure vendor statements are properly matched.
- Perform bookkeeping functions including expense tracking, allocations, and fixed asset management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- 4–6 years of experience in accounting/finance.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial regulations in India.
- Strong proficiency in Tally (mandatory).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Ability to work under deadlines; well-organized and able to multitask effectively.
- Honest, reliable, and a strong work ethic.
