Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented
Lead Data Governance Specialist
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of hands-on experience in data-related disciplines, with a strong focus on Data Governance, SAP Master Data management, and data quality. This role is critical for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our data assets and will leverage deep expertise in SAP ERP systems, particularly within the oil and gas or financial services sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards across the organization.
  • Manage and maintain the integrity and quality of SAP master data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across various business functions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define data quality metrics and build a robust data quality monitoring and remediation program.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on SAP ERP data structures and functionality, providing guidance and support for data-related projects and initiatives.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices for data management and governance.
  • Identify and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring data is a reliable asset for business decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    12+ years of professional experience, with a significant portion dedicated to data governance, data quality, and master data management.
  • Domain Expertise:
    Proven experience working within the
    oil and gas or financial services
    domain.
  • Technical Skills:
    Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with
    SAP ERP and its associated data structures
    .
  • Soft Skills:
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Education:
    A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
