The Role

We're looking for a 
Creative Art Director (Head of Design)
 - a visual thinker, creative leader, and team mentor who can transform ideas into iconic visuals. You'll lead the design team, set the creative direction, and ensure every piece of work meets the high standards we're known for.

You'll work closely with copywriters, strategists, and brand teams to shape campaigns, brand identities, social content, and everything in between. If you obsess over grids, craft, typography, and that one perfect shade, while also knowing how to lead a team with empathy and energy — this role is made for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design function across all brand mandates - from concept to final execution
  • Oversee and mentor a team of visualisers, designers, and motion artists
  • Provide strong creative direction and feedback during brainstorming, reviews, and final delivery
  • Collaborate with copy, strategy, and servicing teams to develop 360° campaigns and visual identities
  • Ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across platforms and formats
  • Stay updated on design trends, digital innovations, and visual culture
  • Review all major design outputs, ensuring excellence in craft, clarity, and originality
  • Lead client presentations for key creative pitches and brand directions
  • Build a collaborative, inspiring, and high-performing design culture within the agency

What You Bring

  • 5-8 years
     of experience in graphic design, branding, or advertising (with at least 2+ years in a leadership role)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing brand identity, advertising campaigns, digital/social media content, and print collateral
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects is a bonus)
  • Deep understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to lead, guide, and grow a creative team with a balance of mentorship and management
  • An eye for innovation, a mind for systems, and a heart for design
  • Comfort with deadlines, pressure, and juggling multiple creative mandates
  • A strong aesthetic sensibility paired with strategic thinking and storytelling
