Role Overview

We are seeking a Retail Tech Enablement Lead to spearhead technology-driven transformation across Reliance stores. This role is responsible for leading a team of 10 professionals to roll out retail enablement solutions, train store staff, and ensure seamless adoption of cutting-edge retail technologies. The ideal candidate will bridge business objectives with technology execution, ensuring optimized sales processes, elevated customer experience, and measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Implementation & Rollout

  • Lead end-to-end rollout of digital retail solutions across Reliance stores, including POS systems, e-commerce platforms, inventory tools, and AI-driven customer analytics.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and vendor teams to ensure smooth deployment, integration, and scalability of technology solutions.
  • Monitor and resolve operational challenges during rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.

2. Workforce Training & Adoption

  • Develop and execute training programs for store staff to ensure effective usage of retail technologies.
  • Create enablement toolkits, SOPs, and quick reference guides for sales and customer support teams.
  • Drive a culture of digital adoption and continuous learning across stores.

3. Data & Analytics Enablement

  • Establish systems to unify customer data across touchpoints, enabling actionable insights.
  • Leverage analytics to predict consumer behavior, optimize merchandising, and personalize customer experiences.
  • Provide leadership on KPIs and dashboards to track adoption, performance, and ROI.

4. Automation & Efficiency

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive retail processes (billing, inventory, reporting, etc.).
  • Ensure automation initiatives translate into efficiency gains and enhanced customer engagement.

5. Strategic Guidance & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Reliance retail leadership to align tech initiatives with business goals.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders across technology, operations, training, and business units.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in retail technology enablement, digital transformation, or retail operations management.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale retail technology rollouts across multiple locations.
  • Strong expertise in retail systems (POS, ERP, CRM, e-commerce, analytics platforms, AI solutions, etc.).
  • Experience in leading teams (10+ people) with a mix of technical and business skillsets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
