Job Purpose

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, and assisting in maintaining compliance with statutory and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Process invoices, generation, payments, receipts, and expense claims in a timely manner.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Prepare and maintain schedules for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.
  • Generate financial reports, statements, and summaries as required.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with filing VAT, GST, or other statutory returns.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external auditors when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in CA, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 13 years of relevant accounting or finance experience

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Accuracy of financial records and reports.
  • Timeliness of financial data entry and reconciliations.
  • Compliance with statutory and internal deadlines.
  • Efficiency in handling accounts payable and receivable.
