Role & responsibilities :

1. ERP Implementation & Configuration

  • Assist in end-to-end implementation of the University ERP across Academic and Non-Academic modules (Admissions, Examination, Student Life Cycle Management, HR, Payroll, Finance, Library, Hostel, Transport, Inventory, etc.).
  • Participate in requirement gathering, business process mapping, and gap analysis sessions with stakeholders.
  • Configure ERP modules based on approved business process documents and institutional policies.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and issue resolution with functional teams and the ERP vendor.

2. User Coordination & Support

  • Serve as the first line of support for end-users on ERP-related issues and queries.
  • Maintain a log of issues, ensure timely escalation to the vendor or IT team, and track closure.
  • Conduct user training sessions and prepare user manuals, FAQs, and process flow documents.
  • Monitor user adoption and promote process standardization across departments.

3. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with the ERP implementation partner for timely resolution of functional and technical issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Academics, Examination, Accounts, HR, and Administration.
  • Assist in defining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure vendor adherence to timelines and quality metrics.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Management Information Systems / BCA / MCA / MBA (IT) or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ERP implementation, preferably in Education / University / Higher Education environment.
  • Familiarity with modules like Student Life Cycle, Admissions, Examination, Finance, HR, and LMS.
