Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and supporting financial reporting and compliance. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing general ledger functions, and assisting with audits and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile balance sheets, income statements, and general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Coordinate and assist in audits (internal and external) by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants or finance assistants as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum [4–6] years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹70, ₹90,000.00 per month
