Role & responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
  • Record journal entries, purchase bills, sales invoices, and expense vouchers.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and ageing reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing.
  • Handle GST workings, reconciliation, and monthly returns.
  • Assist in preparing and filing TDS returns and challan payments.
  • Maintain records for statutory and internal audits.
  • Monitor receivables and follow up for payments.
  • Process vendor payments and verify bills.
  • Handle vendor queries and reconciliation.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
  • Coordinate for payments, LC/BG documentation, and fund transfers.
  • Monitor cash flow and update fund requirements.
  • Prepare schedules and documentation for audits.
  • Coordinate with auditors and respond to queries.
  • Maintain proper documentation and support SOP implementation.
  • Assist in improving processes and strengthening internal controls.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Assist in financial analysis for management decisions.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the finance team.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Inter CA / CA Intermediate qualified or appeared.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and GST/TDS laws.
  • Proficient in Tally ERP/SAP/other accounting software.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle deadlines.

    Strong Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS preparation).
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
