Key Responsibilities:EDI Transaction Processing & Troubleshooting:o Monitor and manage HIPAA-compliant EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278, 999, TA1). o Investigate and resolve EDI transmission errors, rejections, and failed transactions.o Collaborate with trading partners, clearinghouses, and internal teams to ensure smooth data exchanges. Implementation & Configuration:o Set up and maintain EDI trading partner relationships, including onboarding and testing.o Configure and optimize EDI mapping, translation, and integration within claims processing systems (Facets, QNXT, HealthEdge, or other platforms).

o Develop and maintain EDI business rules, validation checks, and error-handling procedures. Compliance & Documentation:o Ensure HIPAA, X12, and CMS compliance for all EDI transactions.o Stay updated with EDI regulations, payer policies, and industry standards.o Maintain detailed documentation of EDI processes, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaboration & Process Improvement:o

Work with claims, enrollment, finance, and IT teams to enhance EDI processes.o Identify opportunities for process automation, error reduction, and performance optimization.o Participate in EDI system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new transactions. Experience:o 3 years of experience in EDI transaction processing, mapping, and troubleshooting within a healthcare payor environment.o Strong knowledge of HIPAA EDI X12 transactions (837, 835, 270/271, etc.) and claims adjudication processes.o Experience with EDI tools, clearinghouses, and healthcare payor platforms (e.g., Facets, QNXT, HealthEdge, or similar).
