Job Description

We are seeking an Electronic Data Interchange Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing electronic commerce transactions and ensuring timely processing of documents.

The Electronic Data Interchange Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining electronic commerce relationships with vendors and freight carriers, ensuring compliance with internal standards and ANSI standards.

Additionally, the specialist will develop and maintain electronic commerce implementation guides, procedures, and statistics, monitor electronic transmission of electronic commerce documents, supervise external development of electronic commerce software, perform quality control checks, work with electronic commerce translators, direct network service providers, communicate product flow information, implement new VMI relationships, conduct training sessions, and suggest modifications to electronic commerce software applications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data mining and visualization tools, such as Power BI, SQL, VBA, and Excel, experience in Nexus and Gentran, working knowledge of ANSI and EDIFACT EDI Standards, familiarity with Inventory Management, Planning, Forecasting, and Transportation processes and systems, excellent writing and communication skills, and excellent problem-solving skills.
