Manager, AI

Job Purpose:We are seeking a dynamic and business-savvy Manager, AI & Automation to join our APJ Digital & IT team. This role will be working with business stakeholders and technology enablers and translating the power of AI into tangible business outcomes. As part of the regional digital transformation journey, this individual will play a key role in identifying, prioritizing, and deploying AI & automation use cases that align with business goals. This is a business-facing role that demands strong communication, management and stakeholder engagement capabilities, along with a deep understanding of the strategic value of AI.Responsibilities:• AI Strategy & Enablemento Translate complex AI concepts into business-relevant language, outcomes, and benefits o Work with the global Digital & AI leadership team to align regional initiatives with enterprise strategy.o Act as the advisor to business leaders across APJ to educate and translate AI opportunities.• Use Case Identification & Prioritizationo Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and prioritize AI & automation use cases.o Collaborate on business cases that demonstrate the ROI, efficiency gains, and innovation potential of AI-led initiatives.• Solution Selection & Deploymento Collaborate with vendors, global teams, system integrators (SIs), and independent software vendors (ISVs) to evaluate and select the most effective AI tools and platforms.o Lead the deployment of approved AI solutions in collaboration with project managers, IT, and change management teams.o Ensure strong adoption, business readiness, and user enablement.• Stakeholder & Vendor Managemento Serve as the primary interface between business units, global digital teams, and external partners for AI initiatives in the region.o Manage vendor relationships and performance to ensure timely, value-driven outcomes.• Governance & Reportingo Define KPIs and value metrics for AI initiatives; regularly report progress to APJ and global leadership.o Ensure all AI projects adhere to data governance, compliance, and ethical standards.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:>8 to 10 Years of relevant work experienceUnderstanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs), with the ability to evaluate their applicability to real-world business scenarios.Familiar with major AI ecosystems and platforms from Microsoft, Google, Amazon, OpenAI, Hugging Face, and other leading ISVs and SIs.Hands-on experience implementing AI and automation use cases in organizations, ideally in areas such as supply chain, customer service, sales enablement, or finance operations.Skilled in identifying high-impact opportunities and articulating the value of AI in clear business terms for non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across business, IT, and external partners, with a focus on outcomes, timelines, and adoption.Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior leaders, driving change, and ensuring business readiness and user adoptionPrior experience working on AI or automation initiatives preferred (but hands-on coding not required). o Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders across geographies.Curious, adaptable, and innovation-driven.o Outcome-oriented, with a strong focus on value realization and user adoption.o Comfortable navigating matrix organizations and driving influence without authority.Key SkillsWhat's In It For You?Elective Benefits: Our programs are tailored to your country to best accommodate your lifestyle.Grow Your Career: Accelerate your path to success (and keep up with the future) with formal programs on leadership and professional development, and many more on-demand courses.Elevate Your Personal Well-Being: Boost your financial, physical, and mental well-being through seminars, events, and our global Life Empowerment Assistance Program.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: It's not just a phrase to us; valuing every voice is how we succeed.
