Job Description:

We are seeking dynamic and experienced Assistant Managers to oversee ship repair, refit, and new shipbuilding operations. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in managing shipyard projects, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day ship repair, refit, and new build activities.
  • Plan, monitor, and control project progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with production, design, quality, and procurement teams for smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and classification society requirements.
  • Manage manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently to optimize productivity.
  • Prepare project reports and documentation for management review.
  • Handle client interactions and ensure customer satisfaction during project execution.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Marine/Naval Architecture or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ship repair, refit, or new shipbuilding operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ship systems, machinery, and fabrication processes.
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
