Who We AreThe RoleWhat You'll Do
  • Lead a new team in Addepar's web platform group.
  • Implement new user experiences in Addepar's products, bringing them to life with dark and light mode.
  • Raise the productivity of engineers in our largest frontend codebase through the application of AI, improvements to CI, and testing tools.
  • Build a team which can mentor other UX contributors at Addepar.
  • Become an expert in Addepar's web component design system, and shape the future of that system through feedback and contribution.
  • Work across a broad spectrum of the design and web ecosystem, including with Figma, Storybook, Tailwind, Ember, Stencil, Svelte, React, Web Component technologies, and CI / testing systems.
  • Tackle the challenge of building a global product, and a global team.
Who You Are
  • B.S., or M.S. in Computer Science or similar technical field of study (or equivalent practical experience.)
  • 8+ years of experience as a professional software engineer
  • 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager
  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of web fundamentals (TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP)
  • Obsessive about detail and quality in a user's experience
  • Eager to learn new technologies
  • Have a capacity for self-organization and direction
  • Preferred but not required: Experience with Ember, Stencil, TailwindCSS, and Web Components.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience with UI testing systems such as GitHub Actions, visual regression testing, QUnit, and Playwright
