Job Summary : A Dark Store Manage centers on overseeing a dedicated, customer-less retail distribution center to ensure efficient order fulfillment, accurate inventory management, and timely last-mile delivery.

Key responsibilities :

Include supervising staff, managing inventory, coordinating with logistics partners, implementing process optimizations for speed and accuracy, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining safety and compliance standards to meet customer service level agreements.

  • Operational Oversight: Manage the daily workflow of the dark store, focusing on efficient order picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure quick and accurate fulfillment of online orders.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, oversee inventory audits, manage stock replenishment cycles, and work to minimize stock shrinkage to prevent stockouts and ensure product availability.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of store staff, fostering a positive and performance-oriented work environment while providing guidance and support.
  • Logistics & Delivery Coordination: Work closely with last-mile delivery teams and logistics partners to ensure smooth dispatch and timely delivery to customers.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyze and improve warehouse processes and workflows to drive operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and maximize throughput.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to track operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure the dark store environment adheres to all company policies, safety regulations, and health standards
