Role & responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure design, architecture, and migration strategies on GCP.
  • Manage GCP environments including networking, IAM, security, billing, and cost optimization.
  • Define and implement cloud governance policies and best practices across departments.
  • Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure.
  • Monitor cloud workloads, performance metrics, and automate operational tasks using GCP-native tools.
  • Maintain GCP compliance with organizational and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2).
  • Manage vendor relationships and GCP billing accounts, provide cost forecasts and budget inputs.
  • Plan and oversee GCP disaster recovery and business continuity strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., IT Act, GDPR, RBI guidelines, ISO
  • Act as the primary liaison with auditors, regulators, and external agencies.
  • Oversee the design and operation of security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, IAM, DLP, encryption, etc.).
  • Lead incident response  and disaster recovery planning.
  • Monitor emerging threats and ensure proactive defense mechanisms.
  • Be a part of IT Strategy Committee , Security Committee , prepare CISO report
  • Assist in  VAPT , IS Audit , DR Drill ,  Conducting Cyber Security Awareness Training , SAST and DAST proof of concept etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • GCP Certified Professional (e.g., Cloud Architect, Network Engineer, DevOps Engineer).
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Kubernetes (GKE), etc.
  • Strong background in networking and security best practices in the cloud.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication skills
  • Working knowledge of  VAPT , IS Audit , DR Drill ,  Conducting Cyber Security Awareness Training , SAST and DAST  etc.
