SIP and VOIP Testing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled SIP and VOIP Testing Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and VOIP (Voice over IP) testing processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of SIP and VOIP-based applications, protocols, and services.
  • Validate call flows, signaling, and media handling in SIP/VOIP environments.
  • Execute test plans, test cases, and defect reports for SIP/VOIP systems.
  • Analyze logs and traces to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with development and network teams to resolve defects and ensure quality.
  • Work on functional, regression, and interoperability testing for SIP/VOIP solutions.
  • Document test results, reports, and quality metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing with a focus on SIP and VOIP protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP, SDP, and related protocols.
  • Experience with VOIP call flows and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark) and network analysis.
  • Ability to write and execute detailed test cases and test scripts.
  • Good understanding of telecom and networking fundamentals.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in IP telephony, softswitches, SBC (Session Border Controller) testing.
  • Knowledge of Linux environments and basic scripting.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹60, ₹80,000.00 per month
